The interior design of this family home in Riva, Istanbul, blends Japanese minimalism with Western warmth to make a serene and functional living space.

It works in natural and non-toxic materials: light-toned woods like oak and cedar, complemented by earthy stone elements, clay plasters and organic textiles. Open-plan living areas with clean lines and uncluttered layouts reflect Japanese simplicity, while cosy furniture, soft lighting and vibrant accents bring in a welcoming Western touch.
